It’s pretty easy to mistake apathetic people for being chill about life and easy to be around. It’s when you bring about reality and disturb their apathy that you are going to get bit by them.

Not actually feeling that grouchy about any of this right now. Just general babbling while thinking. We actually want to write papers and articles again rather than the loose tumblry format

Also, can we discourage any and all psychological profiling of others by laypeople? Including using these terms as insults.

It’s one thing to DX yourself, but that is just no. If you have those thoughts you either bring it up as a private topic to discuss with said person at their consent, or you keep it to yourself. Unsolicited medical advice from a non-professional is generally bad, because in most cases, if you were being good with it, you’d know to ask first.

btw each of us in this system is going to have like old geocities type home pages on Weebly, very self indulgent, because most of us don’t have a lot to say as individuals so each of us having a blog actually feels kind of weird and redundant, but trying to make those as pages on tumblr just sounds like a chore tbh

Thinking about earlier topics and wanted to say that there is still a very distinct problem of people with less knowledge about the history and full spectrum of psychiatric information that try to push to culturally redefine fixed medical or scientific language and that is a problem.

Mostly this comes down to pushing for a culture of citation more and learning how to respect the bounds and differences between fixed language and the more natural non-fixed speech. Don’t got to prohibit self DX in any way to achieve this and if anything you’ll just get a culture of more accurate self DX on top of it.

EDIT: This is to say, that cultural progress and redefinition and expansion still need to be able to happen, while at the same time fixed language needs to be respected as working differently so that well rounded discussions can still happen.

We’re actually going to probably have a lot of content for our patreon though, which will be linked to here and on twitter. No content behind paywalls, that’s not our way, plus we’re switching gears on what skills we have that we want to monetize.

The less we monetize our art the ways we’re familiar with the more we can do our stuff.

We are working on getting old work organized though, done a lot of work and will have a contact sheet and a queue up soon. Just working out some stuff.

Which that is one of the things we’re going to start sharing through our Patreon is tools we’ve made for ourself. Eventually making versions that are self explanatory for public use. One of the first we’ll be using is a tool for helping to assemble citations, but right now it’s only set up for MLA and it’s still mostly manual — so it’s not ready yet.

This will hopefully mean more art in the long run instead of less. Commissions just burn us out bad and we just can’t perform regularly enough, which eventually leads to even commissions we want to do suffering. Our overall hand and arm pain is just too much to be doing it all the time anyway, to be honest.

EDIT: the whole first paragraph is randomly missing and we don’t remember what it was, so what ever, good job tumblr

shout out to all my chubb/fat/obese friends who are going to have to deal with families making negative comments about your body this thanksgiving and at any other holiday meals. you’ll be okay. but make sure you get the support you need

And eat. Don’t let your disrespectful family member fuck up your dinner. Enjoy that biscuit and tell Auntie Frannie to suck it.

Taking tumblr in smaller doses has def been helpful. This isn’t a good place for us, we just like some people here and it’s an easy way to consume a lot of content that is enjoyable.

No matter how highly educated an NT doctor is they will never have the experience of being an ND person. It’s purely observational for them so they simply can’t know better than an ND person does, doubly so for an educated one.

We are living in that dystopian future. They live.

Where are customer’s going to come from if companies refuse to hire anyone? It really is almost as if companies believe that customers and employees aren’t the same species at all.
